David Lau                          

After graduating in land surveying from the University of Queensland David was a surveyor with consultancies in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gympie before joining Ken Lawrence at Noosa in 1978.  After Ken’s retirement David steered Lau Surveys to undertake much of the land surveying around the Noosa area during its formative years and up until the present day.  David’s professional interests include all aspects of cadastral surveying, construction surveys and surveying hardware and software.  Away from surveying David enjoys helping his wife in her business, surfing and walking their two dogs when they are keen for an early morning walk.

Mike Campbell

Mike studied surveying through the University of Southern Queensland and has worked for surveying consultancies in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast as well as on mining and construction sites around Australia and overseas including in England and Canada.  Mike had successfully operated Sight Surveys which was based on the Sunshine Coast before joining with Dave and Greg to form NCLS.   Mike has a special interest in construction surveys right through from the initial site investigation to the as-constructed survey.  In his private life Mike spends time with his wife and family and with a fishing line in the water when he has the opportunity.

Greg Martoo

Upon completion of studies in surveying at the Queensland Institute of Technology, Greg worked a surveyor in the private and public sectors in the Gympie region.  In 1982 Greg joined the local council in Gympie as a surveyor and completed studies in both town planning and urban design to focus on Council’s town planning and development responsibilities.  After 20 years in local government, Greg formed his own consultancy offering town planning, surveying and urban design services.  Greg’s professional interests in relation to surveying relate to land tenure and the intersection of surveying with real estate and property development and naturally with town planning and urban design.   When not at work Greg enjoys sharing a healthy and active lifestyle with his wife and the odd visit to interesting places and art galleries.
